I remember when I got the DS Lite. It was Christmas 2006 and I had turned 10 that summer. I had been BEGGING my parents to get me one. By the time lunch came around (about 2 hours later), I had gotten half way through World 2. In other words, LOVED IT!

Our family received Mario Kart for Christmas and we just love it! We have had way too much fun with Mario Kart Wii with Wii Wheel! With all four of us playing together, it’s quite entertaining. And that is one of the best benefits to the newer Nintendo, is that on some games, you can have more than 1 or 2 players and include a couple more people in on the playing. We’ve had quite a few entertaining family nights with Mario Kart Wii with Wii Wheel. It’s a great game for the young or the old!

Some levels are fairly easy and some are a little more difficult to get through, but that just adds to the challenge of Mario Kart Wii with Wii Wheel.

The story starts off very slow in my opinion. Much slower than other RPG’s. I put Glory of Heracles game down several times the first several hours I played as I found it hard to maintain my interest. This knocks it down a notch from 5 stars for me–because that first character just cannot sustain the story himself. Even with the addition of Leucos it is hard to be motivated by story when you first play. I would advise to stick with it as it does get better as more characters are added and you encounter more characters. Some stay with you a while and others are there for their own little segment and will soon go away. I found the two that join you on ship towards the beginning of Glory of Heracles game to be very funny–I enjoyed thier dialogue.

My son’s and I both love to play racing games on our consoles. Naturally we were excited when Need for Speed Shift was announced and thus we pre-ordered it immediately. It arrived in a timely manner. Amazon did offer a promotion that gave us one free level via an email that we received a few days after getting the package.

My initial review would have led someone to believe that Need for Speed Shift game was so so….but reality is that after a few more days of play and a bit of better understanding, it is a GREAT game. It is more of a racing simulator that teaches you to drive faster and better…in preparation for new games in the future, perhaps.
